about the author

Vida Leveim
After my departure from Iran in 1963, I became a social worker, committed to helping those in need. I never relinquished my Iranian heritage and took great pride in introducing myself as a Persian.
Now, in my golden years, when my children are older and have
children of their own, I found a yearning within to introduce the
unique, healthy and wonderful food and traditions of Iran to the people
around me.
I present this book to you, in the hope that the food and traditions will pass on to your homes and hearts and you will experience the warmth, laughter and love which I wish to pass on to you through love of good food.
